About the Local Plan
Planning affects us all. The homes we live in, the places where we work, the open spaces where we relax and the roads we travel on are all a result of planning decisions that have been made.
Our Local Plan, ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ borough Local Plan 2023 to 2040, was adopted by Full Council on Wednesday 16 October 2024. It forms the council’s development plan and sets the planning policies under which development management decisions are taken.
