Consultation on the development of a site in Lansbury Road took place earlier this year. This consultation provided a number of views and perspectives from residents in Lansbury Road and the surrounding area. 
Following the consultation, ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Borough Council has now identified other housing schemes which better fit with the council’s objectives that will help to create more affordable social housing - a priority for the council. Therefore, the proposed development in Lansbury Road is now on hold.

This area remains a potential development site for the future and, should we reconsider the site, all relevant parties will be informed when we have further information and timescales.
