The Safer ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Partnership wants to hear residents’ views on community safety issues to help shape what it will focus on for the next year.
The Safer ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Partnership is a statutory partnership that brings together ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Borough Council, West Sussex County Council, fire and rescue, police, health and probation services to reduce crime and disorder, substance misuse, anti-social behaviour and reduce reoffending. Every year the partnership reviews what it should focus on.
During 2020/21 the Safer ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Partnership focused on four main areas; serious and organised crime, street community, vulnerable individuals and business crime.
The Partnership would like to hear your views to inform the focus of their work for the coming year.
The survey asks questions like:
- Have you felt unsafe in your neighbourhood at any time in the last 12 months?
- What would make you feel safer?
- How concerned are you about being a victim of crime?
- Have you been a victim of crime in the last 12 months?
- Did you tell anyone about the crime?
- In your view, what are the main causes of crime in ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾?
It is important for us to make sure you feel safe and protected in your communities. Hearing your views on how to reduce crime and increase community safety can help us target our resources to help make the town safer. Please take a few moments to complete this survey and tell us what matters most to you.
Cllr Brenda Smith
Chair of the Safer ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Partnership and Cabinet member for Public Protection and Community Engagement
The survey runs for four weeks until 11 March 2021 and gives residents an opportunity to tell the partnership what they are most concerned about in their neighbourhood and what issues they think should be treated as priorities.
No printable copies will be available due to the Town Hall being closed.
The survey can be found on our consultation page.
