In line with the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, COVID-19 restrictions are easing on Monday 17 May enabling additional ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Borough Council facilities to reopen.
K2 ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ is set to relaunch group exercise classes. Indoor adult group sports can also take place. Community Centres will be open subject to activities permissible under government guidance.
From 17 May, you will be able to visit indoor entertainment venues such as cinemas and children's play areas. The Hawth will begin hosting adult indoor workshops and classes, for example, ukulele and life drawing, with some restrictions on class sizes. The indoor live performances programme will start with Ivo Graham on 26 May and Al Murray on 27 May at socially distanced capacities. Outdoor performances in the Amphitheatre will commence with Treasure Island on 30 May, subject to social distancing guidelines.
Indoor hospitality and licensed venues will also reopen for table service for groups of up to six people or two households.

From May half-term, Cherry Lane and Millpond adventure playgrounds will be operating open access play sessions across two timeslots per day. During the school holidays, opening hours will be Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) from 11am-1pm, and 2-5pm. During term time, opening hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3–5pm and 6-7.30pm. All children under six must be accompanied by an adult.
