The ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Wellbeing team offers a free and confidential health and wellbeing service to individuals and workplaces in the town.

The service, funded by Public Health West Sussex, is here to support your workplace and employees to make positive changes that will improve overall mental and physical health.

Workplace wellbeing has become widely recognised as an important priority of any business, especially as mental and physical health can have a direct impact on absence from work, performance and productivity.

It is estimated that 141.4 million days are lost per year due to staff absences, with the most common reasons including musco-skeletal problems, long-term health conditions and mental health illnesses.

With a recent survey estimating that two-thirds of all businesses will put a great emphasis on workplace wellbeing post COVID-19, now is a great opportunity to make it a priority.

The ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Wellbeing team offers a tailored wellbeing package, including:

  • One-to-one appointments via Microsoft Teams, on the phone and by email
  • Talks and presentations covering a wide range of health and wellbeing topics
  • Information stands – with visual and interactive props, leaflets and advice from a Wellbeing advisor
  • Regular and continued support for staff members

The team can help your staff with advice on nutrition, weight management, physical activity, sleep improvement, alcohol reduction, smoking cessation and emotional support.

This is a great opportunity for employers to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees. Keeping staff healthy and happy is an important component of any successful workplace.
