The council’s new ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Homes contractors are now making visit to council tenants.
Mears and Wates Living Space were appointed by the council in November 2019 and will be managing responsive repairs, planned maintenance and empty dwellings for ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Homes properties.
The 10 year contract will split the town into two areas, with Mears delivering maintenance in Broadfield, Forge Wood, Furnace Green, Maidenbower, Pound Hill, Southgate, Three Bridges and Tilgate area and Wates Living Space in Bewbush, Gossops Green, Ifield, Langley Green, West Green and Northgate.
Existing staff will be moved over to the new contractors, ensuring no disruption to council tenants and the same familiar faces at appointments.
This is a good deal for the council and I know our residents will continue to receive first class service.
