Tilgate Park’s Magical Christmas returns to the Walled Garden for a second year from 29 November and brings brand new exciting activities for all the family.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the 29 November plus a bonus day on Monday 23 December, the spectacular Magical Christmas will be back with family-friendly events.
You and your family can follow a magical maze walkway to see Santa in his Grotto or Mrs Claus in her bakery! After a warm chat, each booked child will receive a ticket gaining them access to the elves toy workshop where they will be able to choose a toy and take part in some craft activities. Tickets for Santa must be booked in advance and cost £12 for the first child, £9 each for up to three more children in the same party. Tickets for Mrs Claus cost £8 each, no booking required. Under ones go free.
Tickets to see Santa or Mrs Claus also grant free entry to Tilgate Nature Centre to use before the end of January 2020!
A brand-new event coming to Tilgate Park’s Magical Christmas is Brunch with Santa. The man himself will make a grand entrance and host a story and photo time before you enjoy a lovely cooked breakfast. Each child over the age of one will also be given a present! Tickets cost £15 per person and booking is necessary.
Tilgate Park’s Magical Christmas is also hosting a live theatre performance, brought to you by ‘This My Theatre’. Favourite characters from Hansel and Gretel and Cinderella will be brought to life in the immersive and interactive experience in the beautifully decorated Walled Garden. You can book online at Once Upon a Time. Tickets cost £5 per person.
This year, the ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Ice Rink will be located in Tilgate Park for the first time. Open every day from 10am to 5pm from the 23 November-5 January. Why not make a whole day of it and combine your skating with a visit to the Christmas market for food and drink, shopping and stock up on Christmas gifts?
This year’s Christmas market has plenty to offer including, traditional alpine huts selling a variety of goods, a mixture of pay-as-you-go and free activities and rides, an Alpine-themed bar serving beer, mulled wine, prosecco and soft drinks. There will be lots of live entertainment from local bands, choirs and dance groups at various times through the day. Twice per day, Santa will be doing a free walk around through the market. Be sure to give him a wave!
Entry to Tilgate Park’ Magical Christmas is free and some individual attractions have a fee.
I’m so glad to see Tilgate Park’s Magical Christmas return as it creates many special festive memories for residents and visitors, both young and old.
This is a Christmas event like no other with many different activities to suit all budgets so book now to avoid any disappointment!
