The Small Business Grants Scheme is available for eligible ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ businesses:
- Needing start-up funds
- Looking to expand or improve
- Creating new employment

Please be advised that funding for the Small Business Grant scheme is now limited. To ensure the best use of remaining funds, applications will be reviewed and assessed competitively against the following criteria:
- potential for business growth. Businesses with clear plans for sustainable growth, scalability, and the extent of the ability to increase market share or introduce innovative products or services to the market.
- creation of employment opportunities. Proposals that contribute to local job creation and the number of new jobs, particularly those offering stable, long-term employment or targeting underrepresented groups in the workforce.
- contribution to community impact. Projects that demonstrate a positive and lasting impact on the local community, including initiatives that promote social inclusion, environmental sustainability, or improved community well-being.
- enhancement of skills and development. Projects that promote upskilling and personal development for employees or the wider community, especially the extent to which projects are addressing skills gaps or supporting professional growth in key sectors.
Please note that due to limited funding, we may only be able to cover a proportion of the proposed grant amount.
Applicants are encouraged to address each of these criteria clearly in their submissions to strengthen their application.
